THE DINNER EVENT

There will be a casual steak dinner at the Texas Star Bar and Restaurant at Brentwood on Friday, 0ctober 7, beginning at 7pm.  First reservations are for registrants to the golf event, and second reservations are for other guests and the general public.

The dinner includes a Prime Aged Steak and open bar.  Sponsors to the event will also be able to select from the NFL veterans for guest seating at the table.  The evening will conclude with a live auction with proceeds going to the Lone Survivor Foundation,

A charity specializing in physical and mental health treatment for our military veterans and their families.  Special sporting world experts like John McClain and Bob West will be in attendance along with all the veterans, for meet and greet and photo ops.

 

THE AUCTION

In addition to  fantastic food and story-telling at dinner, there will be a live auction of various items with proceeds going to the Lone Survivor Foundation.  This is the 5th time Brentwood has assisted in sponsoring a golf  event for Lone Survivor and it has resulted in over $100,000 in financial donations to the facility.

 

THE GOLF EVENT

The golf tournament will be in an Oilers vs Cowboys format.  It will be a 9am shotgun start at the Country Club of Texas golf course at Brentwood.  It will have a two man scramble team format, with two teams playing against each other, one team being a Cowboy team and one team being an Oiler team.

Entrants can pick whether they want to play for Team Cowboys or Team Oilers.  The winner of each pairing scores a point for their football team.   In addition, to help the teams along, you will play four holes with four different Veterans from your selected team.

The Veterans will be assigned particular holes to help each of their teams out on that designated hole.  This gives everyone a chance to meet and visit with a number of the pros during the course of the event.

It will be followed up with a luncheon and awards ceremony on the grounds after the round.

 

PRICING

Tickets for the dinner are $100/person.

Golf participation is available for $350/player or $500 for two man team.

This is a rare opportunity to meet and play golf with a number of the NFL all-time greats.

 

SPONSORSHIP, NON-GOLF PARTICIPATION, and GENERAL PUBLIC ACCESS

Sponsorship levels are available at various rates and can be detailed with the pro shop at the facility.

Non-golf participation by way of being a food vendors, course marshals or event volunteers can be detailed at the pro shop as well.

General Public Access is available at the club and on the golf course for date of the golf event. The dinner function the night before is invitation only.

Many of the veterans are amenable to signing items by fans and are welcome to bring such items to the course.
