BRIDGE CITY: NEW TOWN HALL MEETING TO DISCUSS RECENT CHEMICAL LEAK IN ORANGE COUNTY
Brent Coon and Associates will be holding the second of three Town Hall Meetings to discuss the recent chemical leak in Orange County. Brent Coon & Associates law firm has already filed over 500 lawsuits emanating from the major gas leak in Orange County that sent dozens to the hospital and left thousands stranded away from their homes or worse in their homes with no air conditioning as part of a massive “shelter in place” notice from local government agencies dealing with the situation.
The town hall meetings will be on Thursday, August 1st at the Bridge City Knights of Columbus (770 Ave A, Bridge City, TX) at 12:30PM, 4PM and 6PM.
These town hall meetings will try to answer as many questions as possible for local residents. There will also be medical professionals on site to help residents get the treatment they need. And all of this will be free of charge.
“Last week’s town hall meetings were very successful. We had standing room only and we were able to get help and answers for hundreds of people who were confused and scared by the lack of information coming from the companies responsible for this terrible event,” said Brent Coon, lead counsel and founder of Brent Coon & Associates.
BCA has also filed a temporary restraining order (TRO) that prevents anyone from tampering with or destroying any evidence associated to the incident and provide access to professional inspections of the area and equipment involved for causation determinations. However, they have been met with resistance from the companies involved as the firm continues their investigation. In response to Eagle Railcar’s continued refusal to grant the law firm access to investigate the site of the gas leak, BCA has also filed an enforcement action against them on Friday, July 26th. There are still too many questions about this incident, what exactly happened, how this happened, and who is involved.
For more information about the lawsuits and claims being filed please contact Jay Jackson, Communications Director, Brent Coon & Associates.
