BCA Aviation Experience and Case History

Experience in aviation is helpful when evaluating, investigating and litigating
Aviation accidents. BCA has in its three man Aviation team of Gary Riebschlager, Frank Wathan, and Of Counsel Myron Papadakis have a lot of flying experience (90 + combined pilot years)

Combined, we, hold or have held FAA certificates: Student Pilot, Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, Single engine, Multi engine, Instrument rated, and Captain Rated Airline Transport Type Ratings B727, B737, B757 series, B767 series and 400NG, Lockheed L1011, Lockheed L-15.

In total the team has spent over 24,000 hours airborn.

In addition the team has a former Naval Aviator who completed a first tour as a Carrier pilot, and a second tour as an engineering test pilot at the Naval Air Development Center Warminster PA.

In total the group has evaluated, or investigated or helped litigate or was lead litigator in over 450 aviation accident cases. The following list of accident cases shows the breadth and depth of air accident experience that BCA can call upon when working the next tragic case
